Say Communications have been hired to increase the profile of The London Ultrasound Centre following a competitive pitch earlier this year. The agency will use a multi-channel approach to raise awareness of the centre’s pregnancy services and, more specifically, its new Premature Birth Screening service.
The London Ultrasound Centre is a private scanning clinic for women near Harley Street, London. Combining the most innovative ultrasound technology with a strong ethos of patient care, the centre offers a full repertoire of ultrasound scans for pregnancy and gynaecology.
Co-founder and Medical Director Mr Darryl Maxwell leads a team of highly qualified sonographers and consultants with years of experience in fetal medicine. “Many people believe that only the rich and famous use private scans during pregnancy, but we want to let women know that they too can enjoy the highest quality of care,” he explained.
“With their experience in both specialist and consumer health communications, Say were the natural choice to help us do this.”
Premature Birth Screening involves a series of tests that predict which women are more likely to go into early labour. Around 6 to 10% of babies born in the UK are born prematurely, and it is the main reason for admissions to neonatal intensive care units.
Stefi Rucci, Managing Director at Say Communications commented: “We are delighted to be working with The London Ultrasound Centre. The centre offers state of the art diagnostic services that afford women more control over their health and we look forward to working with leading lights at the forefront of fetal medicine.”
